That's the path I walk to work every day.
No amount of flower scents or even thousands of different colours will ever come close to the overflowing greenness of the Finnish summer. And no amount of gardening will ever compensate for a total lack of untended paches of land.

but i must ask: are there mosquitoes? they never appear in photographs, and i have learned fear of mosquitoes, through stories by finns.
Well, no. There aren't really that many mosquitoes in Helsinki. Maybe occasionally one might bite you. But I've never seen any on my way to work.
You see, the untended patches of land are just that. Small untended patches, not big enough to breed mosquitoes.
